COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
At Afcons, whenever we work on a project, our work doesn’t just centre around it. We also devote ourselves to developing local communities around our sites. We strive for inclusive growth, and honour responsibilities towards employees, communities, and, the environment. We try to reflect this through meaningful contributions to local communities around our projects globally. We sometimes go beyond compliance to deliver value to the communities, developing their skills, addressing their grassroots needs, furthering education of children, infrastructure development, and standing by people affected by natural disasters.

To promote sports in Guinea, Afcons sponsors a local football team, and provides equipment and training kits to the players.
Afcons has refurbished a government school in Kamsar, Guinea, including construction of approach roads, provision of study tables and landscaping. It has also refurbished a government school in Gabon including provision of study tables, books and miscellaneous items.
The Zambia team distributed school bags, stationery, tiffin boxes, water bottles and confectionaries in Human Service Trust School, Lusaka.
