Tirupati Smart City Project

In its maiden Smart City project, Afcons is constructing Smart Streets and Elevated Smart Corridor as well as undertaking the beautification of street in the temple city of Tirupati.

The EPC contract for Tirupati Smart City Corporation Ltd involves construction of 6.86 kms of Elevated Corridor, redeveloping 27 kms of Smart Streets and 1 Subway.

The team has completed Segment Erection of Up and Down Ramps and have nearly finished Foundation and Substructure works.

The Pier works for the project is complete, with 190 piers built with requisite beautification. The fabrication of 242 MT MCRT Steel Girders have also been achieved. Besides this, the team is expected to fabricate 465 MT of RoB Steel Girders. As of June 2021, the team targets completion of 3km of the Elevated Corridor.
