Kanpur Metro

October 2020 has been an extraordinary month for Kanpur Metro team. They achieved several laurels while executing the 9-km stretch from IIT-Kanpur to Motijheel. They include:
• Concreting of 54 U-girders, the highest theoretical limit for casting in 18 beds
• Concreting of 57 T-girders with optimum utilisation of resources
• Erecting 78 T-girders
• Erecting 48 U-girders

As of October 2020, the team has completed:
• 1,972 piles (90% of the total activity)
• 303 pile caps (60% of the total activity)
• 212 U-girders cast
• 122 U-girders erected
• 266 piers
• 1431 (Rm) longitudinal beam
• 202 T-girders cast
• 154 T-girders erected
• 120 pier caps cast
• 92 pier caps erected
